Wall Crawl
Intel contacted me over the summer to see if i would be interested in testing their i7 core extreme processor.
Basically I could create anything I wanted and they would feature it on their site and interview me about my experience with the processor.
Concept:
Wall Crawl is a study of movements which are used to visualize sounds and create experimental motiongraphics. It was inspired by Lionel Ritchie’s music video “Dancing on the Ceiling” where a room was rotated on a 360 degree axis. No storyboards were made for this project. My only plan was to push the processor as much as I could, animate to the music, and change my techniques after every 8-count.
All work was done in After Effects, footage was shot on an HVX200
special thanks to: Kirsten Rietchl who helped with the concept, Dalia Burde for producing the shoot, Roger Guillen and PJ Koll for use of the footage and Goodby facilities.
